VIA Rail Canada Inc. is looking for Government Relations Agencies to assist in the development and implementation of integrated government relations strategies, in support of VIA's strategic and corporate plans, in the following sectors:
Sector A: Federal Government
Sector B. British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan
Sector C. Ontario excluding Ottawa
Sector D. Quebec
Sector E. New Brunswick and Nova Scotia
The Tenderer may submit its tender proposal for multiple sectors.
The Tenderer who wishes to submit a proposal for a specific sector must have a physical office located in that sector (except Sector A).
Mandatory Requirement Details:
1) Experience:
The Tenderer must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in government relations services.
2) Experience – Key Account Lead:
The assigned VIA's Key Account Lead must have at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in government relations services.
3) Physical office:
The Tenderer must have a physical office in the sector where the Tenderer submits a proposal. (Sector B, Sector C, Sector D, Sector E)
The Tenderer who wishes to submit a proposal for Sector C must have an office in Greater Toronto Area, Ontario.
The Tenderer who wishes to submit a proposal for Sector A may do so from anywhere in Canada.
4) Official Languages:
As a Crown corporation, VIA provides services in both official languages in all regions of Canada.
Tenderer must be able to provide and deliver all the services specified in Part B, Appendix A, to VIA in both Canada’s official languages when required.
