The works proposed under this Contract as indicated on the drawings and specifications and further
generally identified but not limited to the following:
Tender Price Table Section C1 – Base Tender (General Construction)
• Demolition of existing DHSD building including foundations and decking. Remove all debris from site
and backfill foundation excavation with approved material. Contractor to coordinate timing of building
demolition with Owner and Consultant to ensure any items that need to be removed are removed prior
to demolition.
• Removal of existing playground fencing and turn over fencing to The Nunatsiavut Government for reuse.
• Site Grading, civil works, swale, culvert and other associated works as per Civil Drawings and
Specifications.
• Supply and install of New Playground and other associated works as per Landscape Architecture
Drawings and Specifications. Note the shipping of Pea Gravel to the job site is to be included in this
price.
Tender Price Table Section C3 – Unit Prices
• Placement of owner supplied Type 1 Material located in quarry. This pile was surveyed to contain
approximately 115 meters cubed. Reference Appendix C. It is noted that there may be more Type 1
Material required to complete the required site grading and playground. This price is letting the
contractor know what material is already available for use by the contractor.
Tender Price Table Section C4 – Cash Allowances
• Removal of dental equipment in existing DHSD and install of dental equipment in the new DHSD
building. The work is summarized below:
o Removal and Install of Midmark M21 Compressor.
o Removal and Install of Midmark
Removal and Install of Amalgam Separator.
o Removal and Install of Ezeekleen 2.5 HD Clean Water System.
o Removal and Install of Dental X-Ray Equipment.
o Supply and install of Vacuum Pump Shelf.
The lowest-cost or any proposal may not necessarily be accepted, and the Nunatsiavut
Government reserves the right to cancel this tender. Tenders will be evaluated on the principles
of value for money, which include an evaluation of the Inuit Content Factor pursuant to the
Nunatsiavut Procurement Act.
