CAP7485 - Spurline Trail Bridge Asset Upgrades

The project includes rehabilitation or replacement of four bridge assets along the Spurline Trail, including:

1. BG08 (Policeman’s Creek) – Replace the existing timber pedestrian bridge with a new steel truss bridge on a micropile foundation with concrete abutments.
2. BG18 (Bow River, west channel) – Fully replace the substructure, including installation of micropiles and a new concrete substructure.
3. BG20 (Bow River, main channel) – Perform superstructure improvements to the historic bridge in advance of substructure work. Complete substructure repairs including full pier replacement and repairs at the west abutment.
4. BG29 (Policeman’s Creek) – Remove the existing headwalls and line the existing culverts.
5. Associated asphalt and gravel trail improvements and rehabilitation of landscaping.
