Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Tableland (Stage 1) Stations and P&C Work, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

The proponent will complete the greenfield 230kV station build electrical Work at the new 230kV Tableland Switching Station. This new switching station is located approximately 25km southwest of Estevan, Saskatchewan.

Event Note

There will be an Optional Procurement/Project Information Meeting at Regina Head Office (2025 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK) to discuss various aspects of the procurement process and general overview of the project as a whole on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon (Saskatchewan Time). Proponents do have the option of joining this meeting via Teams.

Confirmation of the number of attendees is required to be sent to the RFP Contact no later than Friday, October 10th, 2025 @ 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, to advise attendance in person or via Teams. The RFP Contact will forward the teams invite and link.

Event Note

There will be an Optional Site Meeting at the Tableland Switching Station (co-ordinates below) on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 @ 10:00 AM Central Standard Time (Saskatchewan Time).

Confirmation of the number of attendees is required to be sent to the RFP Contact no later than Thursday, October 9th, 2025 @ 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. If confirmation of attendance is not received by the RFP Contact on or before this date and time, attendees may not be allowed on site.

PPE is required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, and safety footwear. Confirmed attendees will be advised of any additional requirements they must comply with to access the site.
