Description

The work broadly includes earthworks for waste and soil excavation, and backfilling at the “Former Landfill site” previously operated by Sunchild First Nation. The work also includes waste and soil hauling, stripping, final cover construction, and remedial activities at the "Recent Landfill site". The waste to be excavated at the Former Site, hauled to the Recent Site, and capped is identified as domestic waste. Additional works include installation of perimeter fencing, installing a CSP culvert, and sorting/hauling of recyclable metals. Part of the work will require engaging SFN community as identified in the scope of work.
