Description

The Ottawa Hospital (TOH) on behalf of OHRI (Ottawa Hospital Research Institute) is seeking proposals for the provision of a flow cytometer
instrument, including 4 years of post-warranty service. In support of the development, testing and validation of quality control assays and cellular therapies at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, we wish to expand the capabilities of the Biotherapeutics Manufacturing Center – Cell Manufacturing Facility for the identification and enumeration of cell populations.
A flow cytometer instrument will detect, identify, and enumerate cell populations in different types of samples, blood, bone marrow, cell culture, etc. The ability to differentiate cell populations is crucial for the development and characterization of safe and efficacious cellular therapy products. This instrument will have a critical impact on the Quality Assurance program at the CMF and the safety and efficacy of research products for the treatment.
