DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Superconducting Nanowire Single-Photon Detection System & Timing Analysis System
The University of Toronto intends to purchase a photon detection system that is capable of detecting one and multiple photons in the telecom band (1500-1600nm) and in the near infrared region (750-900nm). The detection system will also require a timing analysis system to record the timing of the photon arrival events.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

ADDRESS AND FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Friday, November 21, 2025 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

Term is 2 year base term with 3 optional one-year extensions.
