Description

This document written by the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase of a new tomosynthesis capable digital mammography suite, the removal of existing equipment, the turnkey installation of the new unit and a 1 year comprehensive warranty covering support and maintenance. The proposal will need to be capable of producing tomosynthesis images and should include an ergonomic friendly acquisition station, a Computer Aided Detection (CAD) system, needle localization guidance aid devices, and a technologist workstation if applicable. The unit must be able to perform standard 2D and 3D mammography imaging for screening and diagnostic examinations. The proposal should also include an option for a separate reading station for dictating mammography images. The right to include or reject this reading station will be at the sole and absolute discretion of WDMH without liability, cost or penalty.
