This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of EB Campbell GSUT Firewalls, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

The E.B. Campbell Hydroelectric Station (EBC) is a hydroelectric generating facility consisting of eight unit(s) ranging in capacity from 34 megawatts to 42 megawatts. It has four Generator Step-Up Transformer (GSUT) units.

The Contract is to provide all necessary services, labour, equipment, tools and materials for demolition of the existing plant south window panels, to design, supply, and install fire barrier systems and fire-rated wall panel systems with associated foundation and / or framing system at EBC. In addition, the Contract includes structural upgrades to the existing GSUT fire walls, applying fire protection coatings, miscellaneous safety and accessibility upgrades, provide grounding for identified work, and associated works as per the technical specifications and drawings.

Event Note

There will be a Mandatory Site Meeting on June 17th, 2025 @ 11:00 am Central Standard Time at EB Campbell Hydroelectric Station, EBC is located approximately 80 kilometres northeast of the corporate limits of Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

For more information on access to site refer to Section 1.1.3 Access to Site in Appendix A of this RFP.

Confirmation of the number of attendees is required to be sent to the RFP Contact no later than June 13th, 2025, 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. If confirmation of attendance is not received by the RFP Contact on or before this date and time, attendees may not be allowed on site.

PPE is required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat, and safety footwear. Confirmed attendees will be advised of any additional requirements they must comply with to access the site.
